Game name: Flutterby Shutter!

Controls

  • Left click to take pictures
  • WASD or Arrow Keys for movement

Advice

  • There are 3 biomes (lake, forest and meadows) which each have 2 unique animals in. One animal is available across all biomes.
  • Can't find the red kite? That's ok - it's very hard to find, let us know in the comments if you manage to find it!

We hope the tips above help: we had feedback that some players were struggling to navigate the map to find all the animals they want to photograph!

Story Introduction

Little Ken is visiting his Grandpa at his cabin out in Flutterby Meadows but oh no! Something has gone wrong and Grandpa needs your help!

Game Description

Flutterby Shutter is a top-down adventure game with photography mechanics. You control the main character, Ken, who is a 5 year old boy, grandson of 'Grandpa' and help him take live-pictures of all the springtime animals as they are just waking up from their winter slumber. You save your pictures in a photo album; can you get pictures of them all?

This game has an end which is triggered upon photographing all the animals.

It's a really cozy game! Love the work. Can you please add a small minimap at the top for the little ken to guide through the fields?

Really pleased you liked it! That's a great idea - we won't be able to change it until after the submission period but navigation tools like that are top of the list for future improvements ^_^ thanks for your feedback <3

I love the Metroidvania style with the camera shooting mechanics
